Join Our Team!Heartwood Assisted Living Community is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of our assisted living community. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents while supervising maintenance staff and coordinating building repairs and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities- Lead and supervise the daily activities of the maintenance team.
- Schedule and prioritize maintenance requests and work orders.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance issues.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify safety hazards and maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with emergency repairs and respond to after-hours maintenance needs when necessary.
- Support community readiness for Department of Health surveys and other regulatory inspections.
- Promote a clean, safe, and attractive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous maintenance experience required, preferably in healthcare, assisted living, senior living, or hospitality.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to read and complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work, including bending, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Starting pay of $26.00 per hour
