Job Title: Full-Time Floor Technician
Location: Troy Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center – Troy, OH

Troy Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

• Perform routine and restorative floor care, including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, and polishing

• Maintain carpets through extraction, shampooing, and spot cleaning

• Operate and maintain floor care equipment and tools

• Follow proper safety procedures and infection control standards

• Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed

• Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and hazard‑free

• Respond promptly to spills and facility needs

• Previous floor care experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus)

• Knowledge of floor equipment and cleaning chemicals

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies (up to 50 lbs)
