Position: Maintenance Supervisor - The Mark at Tucson

Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the facilities program by maintaining the value and overall condition of the asset. The role ensures completion of service requests, oversees the Preventative Maintenance program, completes capital projects, and leads the Facilities Team.

Maintenance Technician(s), Porter, Groundskeeper, Housekeeper.

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Complete all assigned service requests and repairs in a timely manner.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the community to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and opportunities to enhance curb appeal.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors to support the bid process for capital projects and annual Turn contracts.
  • Order, maintain, and manage inventory of supplies, parts, and tools in accordance with the maintenance budget.
  • Communicate with Community Manager regularly regarding any issues with maintenance or budget related items.
  • Assist the CM with developing, maintaining, and managing spending in the maintenance category items in the operational budget.
  • Ensure timely completion of the site Facilities Plan and Preventative Maintenance program including but not limited to:
    Community, amenity, and unit inspections; air filter changes; safety equipment & community access checks; annual Fire, Life & Safety requirements.
  • Assist the Community Manager with planning and implementing a successful Annual Turn and participate in all Turn-Related activities including but not limited to:
    Move-in & Move-out days, unit inspections & trash-outs, unit make-readies including punch list repair items. May also include minor cleaning, painting, & furniture placement as needed.
  • Implement and participate in the on-call schedule completing emergency maintenance request after-hours and on weekends as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area.
  • Provide superior customer service to residents.
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, and development of Facilities Team members.
  • Understand and adhere to Landmark Policies & Procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the Community Manager as needed.
Education & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Facilities Maintenance required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • CPO and EPA certifications required.
  • Working knowledge of Entrata or similar property management software required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to apply logic and sound judgement.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Availability to work weekends and respond to on‑call/emergency needs as required.
