Full‑time night shift; weekend and holiday rotations required.

Flat rate $1/hour weekend differential & 18% night differential when applicable.

• Dust, mop, scrub, disinfect, vacuum, and polish rooms according to department policy.
• Perform terminal cleaning of operating rooms and sterilization of procedural rooms.
• Conduct heavy cleaning and floor care such as carpet cleaning, hard‑floor stripping/refinishing, and special projects.
• Operate and maintain power cleaning equipment; respond to assigned cleaning service requests.
• Track and log all cleaning activities using computerized and paper‑based systems, maintaining infection‑control documentation.
• Execute specialty cleaning and infection‑control procedures in clinical areas, surgical suites, cath labs, and sterile rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational function of cleaning equipment; report needed repairs.
• Assess environmental conditions to ensure the facility is neat, safe, and orderly; proactively address clutter and safety issues.
• Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to less experienced associates.
• Perform scheduled floor‑care procedures; calculate chemical quantities and mix ratios.

• 1–2 years of diversified environmental‑service experience in a healthcare or institutional setting.
• Working knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and appropriate cleaning techniques for a healthcare environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to interpret and respond to instructions.
• Capacity to multi‑task and work amid frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
• Commitment to role‑model customer service, safe work practices, and infection‐control, including hand hygiene.

• Basic computer skills.
• Prior experience with environmental‑service equipment and cleaning techniques.
• Additional related education or experience.
