This position provides basic support and preventative maintenance on production equipment and collaborates with the Maintenance and Production teams to exceed organizational goals.

• Ensure safety is the foundation of daily work through vigilance and accountability.
• Perform advanced level preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Execute projects assigned on equipment improvements, rebuilds, or troubleshooting.
• Follow manufacturer’s instructions, manuals, and diagrams to diagnose and troubleshoot advanced equipment problems.
• Assist other Maintenance Techs on advanced preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.
• Track maintenance activities in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Ensure proper spare parts needed for preventive maintenance are maintained, on hand, and/or available at time of preventive maintenance.
• Review equipment failures with other Technicians, Engineers, and/or Manager annually to determine if the content and frequency of preventive maintenance need modified.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision.

• 7+ years of experience performing preventive maintenance and maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Intermediate level experience with CNC equipment.
• Intermediate level experience working with computers and MS Products.
• Working with suppliers to fix equipment and order required parts.
• Experience managing spare parts inventory.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to bend, squat, sit, stand, walk, and handle objects; push/pull and reach above shoulder level; carry/lift up to 40 pounds and rotate items being handled.
• Work on feet for entire shift.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
• Ensures all maintenance actions are accomplished in a safe and timely manner.

• 2+ years of CNC equipment operation – Mills, Lathes, Hones.
• 2-year technical degree or trade certification.
• 5+ years of experience performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting CNC equipment issues.
• Forklift certification.
