Allied Universal Janitorial Services, an Allied Universal Company, is hiring a Housekeeping Manager
. The Janitorial Account Manager job is accountable for day‑to‑day operations of an assigned account, including hiring, training, disciplining and terminating staff. Build, improve and maintain relationships with client and employees: develop and retain staff; coordinate needed support services and solve problems to effectively run the account. Provide quality customer service. Maintain weekly operating schedules and completion of payroll for assigned janitorial personnel.

Provide after‑hour emergency response as required.

• Supervise the day to day janitorial operations of an assigned Customer Site.
• Manage a team of janitorial staff with scheduling, payroll, and training.
• Ensure the Client Site is provided with high quality janitorial services.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with both customers and employees.
• Handle any escalated issues or situations appropriately.
• Assure that employee grievances are heard and resolved.
• Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies and vehicles utilized at the account(s). Maintain appropriate inventories and meet customer/company requirements.
• Take a proactive role in communicating with Customer and meeting their needs; meet regularly, listen to issues, provide expertise and solutions. Ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Enforce Allied Universal policies as outlined in the handbooks, handouts and on the company portal.

• Bi‑lingual Spanish/English (read, write and speak)
• Two years experience in business management/operations/supervisory experience in facilities or client focused sites. Preferred but not required.
• Two years experience in janitorial/facility maintenance/housekeeping. Preferred but not required.
• Excellent computer skills:
  Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Communications skills verbal and Written.
• Management experience, specifically for a union environment. Preferred but not required.
• Ability to work a flex schedule (different on call times daily).
• Experience in the janitorial industry and/or the ability to be trained in the janitorial industry.
