Responsibilities
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair ready‑mix trucks, end dump trucks, tractors, trailers, and heavy construction equipment.
  • Diagnose complex mechanical issues, analyze malfunctions, and deliver solutions to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
  • Dismantle, rebuild, and maintain a wide range of equipment using advanced tools and techniques.
  • Conduct parts examinations for wear and damage with precision instruments.
  • Replace and overhaul major components such as engines, transmissions, motors, and hydraulic systems.
  • Test, operate, and fine‑tune equipment to guarantee optimal efficiency and safety.
  • Weld and restore structural and mechanical components.
  • Lead and mentor team members during assembly and disassembly operations.
  • Document work with accurate time and parts records.
  • Suggest improvements, redesigns, or alternative solutions to technical challenges.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to keep the fleet ready for action.
  • Show regular, reliable attendance and willingness to perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • High‑school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or technical certification in heavy equipment maintenance preferred.
  • Minimum 3–6 months of hands‑on heavy equipment maintenance experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • ASE certifications and a valid CDL (A or

    B) preferred; clean driving record desirable.
Requirements for Success
  • 18 years or older with ability to pass pre‑employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
  • DOT medical card (if applicable) and compliance with OSHA/MSHA safety procedures.
  • Team‑player mentality; readiness to collaborate and deliver results.
  • Willingness to travel and work nights or weekends as needed.
  • Commitment to personal and team safety, including proper PPE use.
  • Adherence to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations as outlined by the U.S. DOT.

  • Proficient in interpreting diagrams, instructions, and data.
  • Strong understanding of workplace hazards and safety best practices.

Physical &

Work Environment Requirements
  • Frequent climbing, balancing, and performing tasks requiring physical agility.
  • Regularly sit, climb, use hand signals or equipment, and occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height.
  • Lift and move objects weighing up to 25–50 lbs as needed.
  • Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions.
  • Exposure to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments.
  • Visual acuity: close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception required for safe operation.
