JOB DESCRIPTION

** MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
**** Education
* ** High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Vocational training in painting, finishing, or related trades preferred.
** Experience
* ** Previous painting experience in hospitality, commercial buildings, or residential work required.
* Experience with drywall repair, texturing, and finishing preferred.
** Skills and Knowledge
*** Skilled in painting, taping, priming, sanding, and finishing techniques.
* Ability to match paint colors, understand finishes, and perform clean, detailed work.
* Knowledge of proper paint types, safety procedures, and surface preparation.
* Experience with drywall patching, caulking, and minor carpentry repairs.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work at various heights.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
** Job Duties and Responsibilities
*** Paint guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces as needed.
* Prepare surfaces by patching, sanding, cleaning, and priming.
* Match colors and finishes to maintain consistent appearance throughout the property.
* Complete touch-ups and repairs from daily use, wear, or damage.
* Maintain equipment, brushes, rollers, and painting supplies.
* Protect floors, furniture, and fixtures during painting tasks.
* Assist with drywall repairs, caulking, and minor finishing work.
* Track completed work orders and maintain accurate logs.
* Ensure compliance with safety procedures, ventilation requirements, and PPE standards.
* Perform additional duties as assigned by engineering leadership.
