Reports to: Internal Operations Manager

Cooperates with: All Departments

Location: On-Site in Tulsa, OK

Primary Responsibility: Lead and coordinate maintenance operations to ensure facility and production equipment remain safe, reliable, and efficient. This role supports operational continuity through preventive maintenance planning, repair coordination, equipment improvements, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, engineering, quality, and safety teams to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Do:

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate contractors and repair service providers for facility and equipment maintenance needs.
  • Partner with vendors to establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs that ensure safe equipment operation and minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Coordinate routine shutdown activities with operational departments to support maintenance and repair schedules.
  • Perform minor fabrication and repair work to support equipment reliability and process improvements.
  • Create, track, prioritize, and close work requisitions in a timely and organized manner.
  • Analyze recurring repair trends to identify root causes and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with departmental teams to evaluate equipment improvement opportunities and determine project feasibility.
  • Assist with Cap Ex planning, including initial cost estimates, ROI analysis, and project justification.
  • Improve maintenance department efficiency by sourcing and implementing appropriate fabrication tools and equipment.
  • Support quality and safety initiatives through maintenance-driven process improvements.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and critical replacement components, including sourcing, stocking, and tracking availability.
  • Secure, manage, and maintain relationships with multiple external service providers and contractors.
  • Identify equipment improvement opportunities and collaborate with operations and engineering teams to draft and implement design solutions.
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture through the development, implementation, and adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

How to Qualify:

  • Education:

    Associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, engineering technology, or equivalent hands-on technical training preferred.
  • Experience:

    5+ years of maintenance leadership or industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or production environments.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Preventive maintenance systems, equipment troubleshooting, fabrication tools, vendor management, inventory systems, Cap Ex planning, and maintenance documentation/work order systems.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments and external vendors.
  • Organizational

    Skills:

    Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintenance schedules, and projects in a fast-paced operational environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of LOTO standards, safety compliance, and industrial best practices.
