QUALIFICATIONS- Custodial or janitorial work experience
- High School graduate preferred
Under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Custodial and the building administrator, maintain buildings in a clean, attractive, and functional order; establish and maintain effective relationships with school staff. Observe safety rules and regulations; maintain safe working conditions. Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills of custodial work.
- Punctual and dependable, maintain attendance requirements per Union/District Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Preferred experience with computer‑operated building systems, keyless entrance, fire, and sprinkler systems.
Work may involve lifting and moving objects weighing up to 100 pounds, standing for extended periods, operating equipment, working outdoors in varying weather, exposure to cleaning chemicals, and other tasks that affect mobility, sensory perception, and physical endurance.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USEDBasic hand tools, stepladders, vacuum cleaners, wet vacuums, buffers, pressure washers, carpet extractors, and auto scrubbers.
