Position Summary:Specialty Orthopedic Group is seeking a knowledgeable and hands‑on Facility Manager to oversee maintenance and operational functionality across our Ambulatory Surgery Centers and orthopedic clinics. The Facility Manager is responsible for ensuring that all systems, including HVAC, elevators, and building infrastructure, are maintained to meet healthcare facility standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day‑to‑day maintenance and repair of facilities, including surgery center and clinical buildings.
- Ensure HVAC systems (Trane) are running efficiently; perform or coordinate inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
- Manage elevator maintenance schedules and vendor coordination for timely repairs and inspections.
- Maintain facility compliance with OSHA, local codes, and healthcare standards.
- Respond promptly to facility‑related emergencies and service requests.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and contractors; review contracts, quotes, and manage work completion.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and maintain maintenance logs and reports.
- Oversee janitorial and grounds keeping services for quality and consistency.
- Assist in budgeting and capital planning for facility upgrades and repairs.
- Travel regularly between Tupelo and Oxford locations to ensure consistency and support.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school preferred.
- HVAC Certification required; experience with Trane systems strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance or management; healthcare setting experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of elevator systems, fire safety systems, and building codes.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites as needed.
Skills:
- OSHA or safety compliance training.
- Ability to manage vendors and service contracts effectively.
- Comfortable using maintenance tracking or facility management software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
