We are looking for a reliable Area Maintenance professional to join our team. This crucial role supports the functionality, safety, and appearance of our properties. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks, handling repairs, and responding to emergencies. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving abilities, the capability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering excellent service to our residents.
WhatYou Will Do General Maintenance and Repairs
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in areas such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Prepare vacant units for move‑ins, including performing repairs, touch‑ups, and replacements.
- Complete routine preventative maintenance tasks to ensure all systems and equipment are functioning properly.
- Respond to maintenance requests and perform emergency repairs as necessary.
- Inspect property systems and equipment (e.g., plumbing, HVAC, electrical) to identify malfunctions or safety concerns.
- Ensure common areas and exterior grounds are well‑maintained, clean, and safe for residents.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including fire safety and emergency procedures.
- Monitor and secure property grounds to prevent damage, vandalism, or safety hazards.
- Handle emergency maintenance requests promptly, minimizing disruptions to residents.
- Respond to and address on‑call emergencies, troubleshooting and resolving issues as quickly as possible.
- Communicate and collaborate with other team members, property managers, or supervisors in the event of major emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and track maintenance issues using work order systems.
- Report any unresolved or complex issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
