Maintenance Technician

University Partners is currently seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming community for our residents.

Maintenance Technicians perform a variety of responsibilities, including work orders, grounds and common area clean up and maintenance, and maintaining good resident relations.

Duties and responsibilities will include those specifically assigned by the employees immediate supervisor.

• Providingexcellentservicetoresidents,guests,employeesandcontractors.
• Completingallroutineservicerequestswithin

• Ensuringthecleanconditionofthecommunityatalltimes.
• Maintainingthemaintenanceshopaccordingtopolicy.
• Reportingmaintenanceissuestothe Maintenance Supervisor and Community Managerforreview .
• Assistinginothertasksasdirectedbythe Maintenance Supervisor .
• Spotcleaningthemodelandvacantunitsonadailybasis.

• Workingknowledgeofelectric,plumbing,HVACandbasicconstruction.
• Ageneralmechanicalaptitudecombinedwithawillingnessanddesiretolearn.
• Abilitytoreadandcomprehendsimpleinstructions,short correspondence,andmemos.
  
  Ability to write simple correspondence.
  
  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Abilitytoadd,subtract,multiply,anddivideinallunitsofmeasure,usingwholenumbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Abilitytoapplycommonsenseunderstandingtocarryoutinstructionsfurnishedinwritten,oral, or diagram form.

• CertifiedHVACasrequired.
• Validdriverslicenseandproofofinsurance.
