Electronics Mechanic Supervisor Security Clearance

Position: ELECTRONICS MECHANIC SUPERVISOR with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will be serving as an ELECTRONICS MECHANIC SUPERVISOR and will have direct wage grade supervisory responsibility for a wage grade team of 27 personnel including five Marines ranging in rank from Private to Sergeant.
* You will be establishing deadlines and priorities on the basis of general work schedules, methods, and policies established by the Ordnance Officer.
* You will be working under the direction of the Ordnance Officer in charge, who provides general instructions, standard operating procedures, and overall priorities and policies.
* You will be coordinating with item managers for equipment/ supply problems, schedules schools for the various new equipment and modification upgrades.
* You will be utilizing state of the art software programming used to order parts, manage employee payroll data, schedule work, training requirements and to identify problems.
* You will be analyzing costs, impact and requirements when fabrication, rebuild, maintenance or testing procedures may need to be changed to streamline repairs and ensure compliance with documented standards.
* You will be initiating or participating in review and improvement of work methods, organizational features, and the tructuring of positions to eliminate unnecessary positions and achieve optimum content in those remaining.
* You will be responsible for enforcing employee compliance with environmental/ safety regulations, personal protective equipment requirements, rules, and good safety practices.
* You will be responsible for subordinates in the area of design, fabrication of special tools, fixtures, equipment, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and modifying of Weapons, Artillery, and Communications equipment.
* You will have supervisory responsibility for Welders, Machinists, Artillery Leader, Artillery Repairers, Electrical Equipment Worker, Repair Leader, Repair Inspectors, Electronics Mechanic, Electronics Mechanics and Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanics. Requirements Conditions of employment

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR .
* Work inside and outside, with infrequent exposure to extreme desert temperatures, working around moving objects and frequently works closely with others or alone.
