Maintenance Custodian Associate

Position Summary

As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you ensure members experience a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by maintaining parking lots, restrooms, floors, and other facility areas. Your work involves constant movement, positive customer interactions, and adapting to fast‑paced conditions.

• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps, forklift spotting, hazardous materials handling, steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Clean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following company procedures, guidelines, and approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash according to the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish supplies when low.
