Job Summary
Watermark Hotel is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer. The role involves assistance in engineering operations, including maintenance, repair of hotel property, outside grounds, hotel equipment, preventative maintenance and asset protection. The engineer follows

Learn and demonstrate the ability to maintain property assets. Work with the Chief Engineer to understand preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, routine inspections, and capital expenditures. Learn the impact of maintaining company assets and how it impacts the overall financial success of the hotel property.
Assist and respond to guests' requests in a friendly and positive manner, while providing the highest level of service. Ability to assist guests by having knowledge of hotel property, guest room repairs and common area maintenance. Personally set a strong example for other associates through exceptional guest service.
Assess and evaluate property assets through preventative maintenance. Work with appropriate managers in a respectful and courageous manner to recommend maintenance service solutions.

Work with the Chief Engineer to learn, understand and execute all engineering SOPs.
Act as a team player in meeting guest needs and actively contribute to the efforts of other departments when necessary. Complete all assigned duties inside or outside the normal scope of responsibilities within the engineering department.

F. Saul Company Hospitality Group, brand, local, state and federal regulations. Use personal protective equipment when needed. Follow all procedures for guest/associate incidents. Be knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures.
Produce the required volume of work by planning, organizing and prioritizing tasks as presented by the Chief Engineer. Adhere to attendance policy, general work rules and department procedures. Attend all required department and hotel meetings.
- Education: High School diploma or GED required. CPO and appliance repair certification desired, or the ability to obtain certification based on property needs.
- Experience: 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred. Attention to detail, customer focus and ability to perform job duties in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis throughout the shift.
