We specialize in mold remediation and are looking for a skilled and dedicated Mold Remediation Technician to join our team. Your work will contribute to the well-being and safety of our clients, and we are committed to delivering the highest standards of service.
As a Mold Remediation Technician, you will play a crucial role in the assessment, containment, and removal of mold in residential and commercial properties. You will follow established protocols to ensure that mold is safely and effectively eliminated. The ideal candidate will have experience in mold remediation, a strong commitment to safety, and excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments to identify the presence and extent of mold in buildings.
- Set up containment barriers to prevent the spread of mold during remediation.
- Safely remove and dispose of mold-contaminated materials.
- Clean and decontaminate affected areas using specialized equipment and cleaning agents.
- Conduct air quality testing to verify the effectiveness of remediation.
- Document all work, including assessment results, remediation activities, and post-remediation reports.
- Adhere to safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Communicate with clients to provide project updates, address questions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You have previous handyman experience.
- Knowledge of mold identification, containment, and removal techniques.
- Certification in mold remediation is a plus.
- You enjoy working with a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry equipment and materials.
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
