Senior Maintenance Tech – Urbana, OH

Our well-established, privately-owned manufacturing client is seeking a Senior Maintenance Tech for their Urbana, OH plant to work closely with all maintenance personnel in the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of all equipment within and around the facility to meet production and quality standards and requirements with in a timely manner. Reports to Production Manager.

Senior Maintenance Tech Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To troubleshoot, diagnose and repair all electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment problems.
To coordinate preventative maintenance and repair activities with supervisory and management personnel.
To perform all assigned equipment and facility PM procedures.
To effectively communicate equipment status and issues with management personnel.
To train other less experienced maintenance personnel in effective equipment troubleshooting and in areas of expertise.
To maintain equipment repair records.
To maintain critical equipment spare parts inventory, including generating purchase requisitions.
To perform building and grounds maintenance such as painting, snow removal lawn care.
