Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations across warehouse and manufacturing facilities. In this hands-on role, you will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot facility issues, and support building infrastructure to ensure operational readiness. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated maintenance professional who enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general facility maintenance, including lighting repairs, minor electrical work, plumbing repairs, and basic building repairs
- Support preventative maintenance activities for facility systems and operational equipment
- Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems, including reading ladder logic and supporting automation and secondary operations equipment
- Conduct routine facility inspections and proactively identify maintenance or safety concerns
- Maintain warehouse infrastructure including racking systems, workstations, office setups, and facility layout modifications
- Assist with installation and relocation of fixtures, shelving, desks, and equipment
- Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance services
- Respond to daily maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Maintain organized maintenance documentation and communicate completed work as needed
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and safety procedures
- Support overall facility appearance and operational efficiency
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2–5 years of facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or industrial maintenance experience
- Experience working in warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and building systems
- Experience troubleshooting PLC systems and reading ladder logic
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including climbing, bending, squatting, and reaching
- U.S. Citizenship required due to government contract requirements
- Experience supporting automated manufacturing or warehouse equipment
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and facility management systems
- OSHA or safety-related training certifications
- Experience coordinating with external maintenance vendors and contractors
- Hands-on role supporting multiple facilities in a fast-paced industrial environment
