Centers Assisted Living Program seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily building upkeep and safety in a senior living environment. This role oversees a small team handling preventative maintenance, repairs, life-safety systems, and vendor work across resident rooms and common areas. The supervisor manages work orders, maintains equipment, coordinates inspections, and ensures compliance with healthcare and housing regulations. The position partners closely with clinical and support staff to support a safe, home-like setting, responds to urgent issues, manages budgets and inventory, and helps improve processes while modeling resident-centered, respectful service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and schedule maintenance staff for daily building operations
- Manage work orders, preventive maintenance, and repair requests
- Oversee building systems, equipment, and life-safety devices
- Coordinate inspections and ensure regulatory and safety compliance
- Supervise vendor and contractor work on-site
- Maintain maintenance records, logs, and inventory
- Monitor maintenance budgets and recommend cost-effective solutions
- Respond to urgent building, safety, and resident-related issues
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to support resident needs
- Promote a resident-centered, safe, and home-like environment
