Assist the Engineering Manager in all aspects of resort and building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior,paintand decorating, and respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient,courteous and professional manner to achievemaximumcustomer satisfaction whilecomplyingwithall Four Seasons’ policies.

Assist with the planning, organizing,controlling and directingtheworkflowofthe engineeringrequests.

• Assistin the training, supervision, counseling, and evaluation of performance and planning the activities of maintenance staff including making spot checkson a daily basis.

• Ensure proper execution of work order/request system and that items are followed up onwhen necessary. Thisincludesscheduling, ordering, and initiating projects.

• Prepare requisitions for purchase and work orders and liaise effectively with the Director of Purchasing.

• Implement preventive maintenance schedules, policies, and rules to ensure an efficient department.

• Ensure that the Perfect Room program is effective and meets company standards. Be able to make recommendationspertaining to Resort operations ensuring maximumefficiencies.

• Maintain logs on movement of stock items and tools andmonitordistribution of items.

• Actively support the Safety Committee.

• Support the energy conservation program allowing the resort to meet its annual budget targets.

• Maintain close working relations with hotel contractors whofurnishreliable
  24-hour emergency service.

• Assist with maintenance of all firefighting equipment in first class order and ensure that emergency procedures are understood and practiced by hotel staff.

• Minimum2+yearspreviousexperience in kitchen equipment and laundry,certifications preferred.
  
  Trade school in mechanics, refrigeration etc. strongly preferred

• Requires technical knowledge of building maintenance and main plant operation, HVAC equipment and pumps, plumbing,and electrical.

• Ability tooperatecomputer equipment.

• This role has direct contact with guests and as such,good communication skills are a necessity.

• Fluency in English isrequiredfor thislocationand this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States. Ability to speak Spanish preferred.
