We are looking for a caretaker couple to look after our lodge that sits atop Thompson Pass in Valdez, Alaska.
This position is from October 1, 2026 to February 1 2027, although we hope the couple wants to stay on during ski season.
Our property is directly on the Richardson Highway. The caretakers must have basic mechanical skills; know how to operate and care for snowblowers and willing to learn to care for the generators. This is a clearing snow and snow removal position. Both Male and Female should be in physical shape to be able to do both as well as push a snow blower.
Winter Snow Removal experience is useful.
You will be working with our Maintenance Supervisor as well and take direction from him as well as our owner Ingrid Fraser.
No Fee for housing. Meals are your responsibility and full kitchen for cooking.
