Maintenance I Technician

Pines Village Retirement Communities, Inc. is an independent retirement community where we celebrate life by enriching the lives of older adults each and every day. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance I Technician to join our growing Facilities team.

The Maintenance I Technician works effectively and efficiently to assist in maintaining, organizing and keeping Pines Village in top‑notch condition by maintaining the interior and exterior of the facility. Ensures Pines Village and all its properties are clean, safe and attractive for all those who reside, visit, and work here. Required to understand and respect confidentiality of personal and professional business of residents and staff members.

Schedule is 6:30a - 6:30p every Saturday and Sunday.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of previous maintenance, security, custodial or janitorial experience, preferably for retirement community, long‑term care facility or apartment complex.
• Working knowledge of floor and/or carpet maintenance and equipment.
• Must be able to learn correct procedures/schedules, follow those procedures/schedules and to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Possess a valid State of Indiana driver’s license; have reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance.
