Base Pay: $23.00 - $28.65 per hour

The 2nd shift Maintenance Technician will work at the Van Wert Cooked Meats Plant, assisting in troubleshooting, preventing, and repairing production equipment to maintain continuous operation.

Sign‑On Bonus: $3,000 paid in three installments ($1,000 at 30 days, $1,000 at 60 days, and $1,000 at six months). Rehires qualify a year after termination.

Hours:

Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm

Starting Hourly Rate: $23.00–$28.65, with potential increase after 90 days based on experience and placement test.

Additional Pay:
Monthly and year‑end profit‑sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance).

• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing machines to ensure ongoing production.
• Perform all assigned preventative maintenance procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of parts used or damaged and complete required paperwork.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to remain on feet for prolonged periods.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and moving up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work in a cool, damp environment.
• Strong communication, note‑taking, and basic computer skills (data entry, time logging).
• Electrical skills: 480 VAC 3‑phase, VFD, PLC, Robotics, print‑reading, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis.
• Mechanical aptitude: print reading/interpretation, mechanical assembly, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
