Availability: May – September 2025 (Thursday – Sunday)

Copperpenny Distilling Co. is looking for the right individuals to represent our growing BC-based spirit brand at local farmers’ and artisan markets around Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island (with positions for interior BC coming soon). We are a craft distillery that focuses on grain‑to‑glass production using BC‑grown agriculture and botanicals from around the Pacific Northwest and the world. Our globally‑recognised, award‑winning spirits have been delighting guests and customers on the North Shore and Downtown Vancouver for three years now, and we’re looking to expand our presence in BC – starting with Vancouver and the Island.

A successful candidate will be a motivated self‑starter that is passionate about premium spirits, mixology, and product education and lives to engage and interact people about a quality, locally‑made portfolio of products. Our sales staff are ambassadors of our brand and always reflect the elevated yet easy‑going nature of the Copperpenny vision.

Markets will be in Downtown Vancouver, Burnaby, New West, North & West Vancouver, and potentially more. There are opportunities to work all or some of the markets – we are just working out this season’s schedule. A great opportunity for someone looking for extra work or possibly a near full‑time position.

  • Must be able to work weekdays, weekends and/or evenings
  • Must possess current BC Serving it Right certification (a straightforward online course)
  • A passion for the spirits industry, cocktail culture and exemplary customer service and guest experience
  • Willingness to learn and follow company procedure; be a team player
  • Must be detail‑oriented and have demonstrated ability to multitask
  • Must capable of lifting light to medium loads (liquor cases, pop‑up tents, display units, etc.)
  • Diligent record keeper with good organisational skills
  • Class 5 driver’s licence is mandatory
