Janitorial / Sanitation Supervisor.

Location:

Vandalia, OH 45377.

Schedule:

FT M-F, 5 days, 8 hours per day, 40 hours total.

Salary: $19.50 per hour.

We're looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Janitorial / Sanitation Supervisor to keep our clients' spaces clean and welcoming. If you take pride in your work and enjoy a flexible environment, we'd love to have you on our team!

Responsibilities
  • Supply Management:
    Maintain an inventory of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • OSHA Standards:
    Ensure all staff follow safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Correction of Deficiencies:
    Hold staff accountable for "re‑cleans." If an inspection fails, the supervisor ensures the original cleaner corrects the work immediately to reinforce standards.
  • Time and Attendance:
    Ensure staff are on time and that the attendance policy is being implemented.
  • Training:
    Train new staff on cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
  • Working Supervisor:
    Lead by Example:
    Perform cleaning tasks (dusting, mopping, vacuuming) to the highest standard to set the visual benchmark for the rest of the crew. Step in and personally clean zones when staff members are absent or when the workload exceeds the team's capacity.
  • Daily Operation:
    Ensuring adequate coverage for all areas of the facility, including holiday and emergency staffing.
  • Conflict Resolution:
    Act as the first point of contact for staff disputes or personnel issues.
  • Communication:
    Honest, consistent, and transparent communication with the immediate MRI Area Manager about staff performance, attendance, and areas of improvement.
  • Security - Ensuring staff stay within compliance of the site's strict phone and badging policies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Must have a smartphone for clocking in/out.
