Athletic Facility Worker

Responsibilities

Performs routine event set‑ups and custodial duties to ensure areas within the Athletic Department are prepared for both athletic and outside events; maintains facilities well. Works effectively in a team environment, exhibiting a proactive attitude and strong customer‑service skills. Performs light custodial and janitorial tasks. Regular and reliable attendance is expected.

May be required to set up and take down equipment for athletic and special events, including moving, lifting, carrying, and arranging furniture, equipment, and other objects. Responsibilities also include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, removing refuse from offices and buildings, dusting, mopping, window cleaning, carpet cleaning, waxing, scrubbing, polishing, and snow removal from sidewalks and stairs.

Must be able to work at heights and perform tasks such as bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, balance, climbing, squatting, sitting, twisting, grasping, and crawling. Reach at various levels from floor to overhead. Must be able to move, manipulate, and carry up to 50 lb.
