Maintain a safe and sanitary environment in patient/resident rooms and assigned areas following infection control, safety, and procedural guidelines;
Empty waste baskets and sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing/waxing machines;
Assist in laundry areas as appropriate and use materials, equipment, and cleaning chemicals knowledgeably;
Keep storage, equipment, and carts clean and well-stocked; operate pagers and related technology as needed;
Wear appropriate protective equipment and adhere to guidelines to ensure health standards are met
