Custodial Services Supervisor I
The Custodial Services department within USD Facilities Management is seeking a Custodial Supervisor I. This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of approximately 30 custodial personnel to maintain and provide quality custodial services for our campus facilities in Vermillion, SD. This person will be responsible for the presentation and cleanliness of our academic buildings. This person will interact closely with staff, customers, students, and faculty on campus.
As part of a team, this person is responsible for the well planned, timely and safe delivery of custodial services.

Advertised Salary $19.00 - $21.05
Monday – Friday 5:00am-1:30pm

Preferred Qualifications- One to Three years of supervisory experience that includes direct supervision of staff
- Knowledge of the practices, procedures, equipment, chemicals, and materials common to the custodial profession
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate the work of your staff in a fair and planned matter
