This position is much more than the average warehouse position. Our warehouse team is highly skilled and responsible for multiple business functions including customer service and sales. The warehouse customer service role will need to become versed in our product offering, eventually offering technical advice and product recommendations to tile contractors and DIY customers. This is a high paced customer facing environment where multitasking with a positive attitude is key.

At Best Tile this position involves responsibility for general warehouse and sales tasks such as:

• Making deliveries
  - Includes driving a box truck, loading and unloading the vehicle, and working with customers to ensure their orders are deliverd on time safely
• Receiving and shipping large complex orders
• Taking, processing & picking orders
• Inventory control
• Maintain and increase sales to contractor/builder customers
• Answering telephones
• Assisting with a variety of customers
• Becoming proficient with our tile products and installation techniques
• Customer orientation
• Self Motivated to learn our products
• Detail orientation
• Proven communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet the very physical demands of the position
• Tile installation experience is a plus
• Warehouse experience is a plus
• Leadership / Management experience is a plus

Requirements

• 1-2 years material handling experience, focusing on customer service and contractor sales.
• Forklift certification is strongly preferred; we will train and certify the ideal candidate.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends.
• Possession of a current and valid driver's license.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Ability to pass a post-offer employment screening, which includes drug testing, physical capacity testing, and a background check.
• A valid driver's license
