The Champlain Valley School District (CVSD) is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Substitute Custodians. This role is essential for providing a safe and clean learning environment for our students. This is a flexible, as‑needed position, offering you the opportunity to choose assignments that fit your personal schedule while supporting our schools.

• Clean and maintain floors, including vacuuming, sweeping, washing, stripping, waxing, and buffing.
• Sanitize facilities such as bathrooms, windows, walls, water fountains, and sinks.
• Manage waste by emptying trash receptacles and picking up litter inside and around buildings.
• Support school operations through event setup/breakdown.

• Ability to work cooperatively with students, staff, and supervisors.
• Strong dependability and the ability to work independently to get things done.
• Capacity to stand/walk constantly and frequently lift or push/pull up to 25 lbs.
• Experience not required; paid training provided to all new hires.
