The Lowell Graded School has a Head Daytime Custodian position vacancy for the upcoming  school year. The position will work with administration in ensuring a safe and clean learning environment in and around school grounds and oversee the infrastructure, maintenance, and repairs.

• High school graduate.
• Recommended 2-4 years of previous experience and knowledge in the following:
• Experience with maintenance and custodial tasks
• Knowledge of facilities management in at least one of the following areas preferred: HVAC systems, Public bid process, Project specifications & general contracting/building, Plumbing and electrical repairs and upkeep
• Ability to perform manual labor and meet physical demands of the job including but not limited to:
• Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem‑solving, time management, and communication skills are crucial.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn Vermont state regulations for schools around facilities and safety.
• Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and dependability.
• Maintains standards of confidentiality in the community.
• Computer skills with competency in Google platforms.

As per Support Staff Collective Agreement. Hourly rate range between $21.35 and $24.00, depending on previous experience. This is a 20-hour per week, daytime, full-year position.
