Location: Randolph
Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide all maintenance operations within our metal stamping manufacturing facility.
- Coordinate with external contractors to ensure effective maintenance, upgrades of plant equipment, and electrical/electronic components.
- Research and acquire capital equipment.
- Lead, support, and cultivate maintenance personnel.
- Attain full proficiency in all machinery to conduct maintenance and provide training as necessary.
- Supervise and ensure the quality of work by mechanics and electricians.
- Enforce discipline and attendance policies in accordance with company standards.
- Handle electronic wiring, controls, and maintenance for the plant and industrial equipment.
- Develop, implement, and enhance the plant’s preventive maintenance program.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety, including pollution control, health department regulations, and OSHA mandates.
- Guarantee the availability of equipment spare parts and manage all maintenance inventory effectively.
- Possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of all quality assurance processes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in all maintenance areas through organized scheduling and directing of tasks.
- Exhibit strong communication skills to foster employee growth and maintain positive relationships.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- A minimum of 5 years in maintenance roles.
- Experience in machining is advantageous.
- Proficiency in milling and lathe operations.
- Familiarity with metal stamping presses is beneficial.
- Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Proven management and leadership experience.
- Capability to oversee a Preventive Maintenance Program, manage inventory, budget, and justify costs for modifications and improvements.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Higher education in electro-mechanical or related fields (associate or bachelor’s degree) is preferred.
- Journeyman electrician status is advantageous.
Compensation:
Range $60k-120k commensurate with experience.
