Wake Robin is seeking a dedicated and dependable Custodian/Utility Staff to join our Environmental Services team. Our custodial team plays a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for residents, visitors, and employees. Every day, your work contributes directly to the quality of life and comfort of our community. • Custodial and Resident Support
  • Assist with resident move‑ins and transitions throughout the community, including moving furniture and personal belongings as needed.
  • Set up, break down, and restore rooms before and after campus functions or events.
  • Support maintenance of green rooms and related container systems.
  • Remove trash and recycling as assigned.
• General Maintenance and Facility Care
  • Collaborate with housekeeping to clean components of rooms or public areas as needed.
  • Perform routine floor care, including vacuuming, mopping, stripping, and waxing as needed.
  • Maintain carpet cleanliness through regular cleaning and spot treatment.
  • Assemble basic furniture and hang pictures as requested.
  • Replace light bulbs and perform basic plumbing tasks (based on skill level).
  • Wash windows and clean garages as assigned.
• Seasonal Duties
  • Assist with snow removal, including shoveling sidewalks during winter months.

• One year of custodial, housekeeping, facilities, or related experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with pool operations preferred.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, moving furniture, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong customer service skills and a willingness to assist residents and coworkers.
• Attentive to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic knowledge of custodial practices, cleaning equipment, and floor care techniques.
• Ability to safely use tools, equipment, and cleaning products.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to use email, digital work order systems, and electronic calendars.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs throughout the day.

Sunday – Thursday: 10 am – 6:30 pm

$19.10/hour – $24.46/hour
