Summary: Performs routine maintenance and repair of residence, maintaining physical appearance of the grounds and building as well as ensuring that the building is physically sound and safe. Works with outside contractors as needed. Responsible for cleaning residents rooms and residence common areas including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, polishing, mopping, disinfecting, etc. Discards waste into proper containers, replaces light bulbs and assists with any general housekeeping/laundry duties as necessary
QualificationsEssential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, coworkers and the surrounding community.
2. As an associate you are expected to have an active role in growing community occupancy by representing and interacting positively with potential residents, family members and professionals.
3. Performs all duties and responsibilities with a positive attitude.
4. Performs routine maintenance and repair on the residence equipment.
5. Ensures work area is free of hazardous conditions.
6. Attends all required in-service trainings and/or orientations.
7. Participates in the communities on call program at the discretion of the MD and ED.
8. Follows all established safety procedures and precautions when performing environmental services.
9. Replaces burned out light bulbs for exit lights, overhead lights, room call lights, exterior lights, etc.
10. May act as contact person for vendors performing maintenance jobs.
11. Demonstrates proper usage of chemicals and equipment.
12. Discards waste/trash into prop containers and re-lines trash receptacles.
13. Discards waste/trash into facility dumpsters
