Engineering Manager

Our client is seeking a hands‑on Engineering Manager to support a large luxury resort operation in New Hampshire. This role oversees preventative maintenance, mechanical systems, commercial equipment, and daily engineering operations across a dynamic, guest‑focused property. The ideal candidate brings strong HVAC and facilities maintenance experience within hospitality, resort, or large commercial environments.

• Minimum 2+ years of hotel, resort, or commercial building maintenance experience
• Previous engineering leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience maintaining commercial kitchen and laundry equipment required
• Commercial refrigeration experience strongly preferred
• Universal HVAC License required
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Strong preventative maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience responding to emergency maintenance situations
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
• Physically capable of lifting, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working in mechanical spaces

• Experience with in luxury hotels, resorts, ski resorts, or large destination properties
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, boilers, plumbing, kitchen systems, and general building operations
• Hands‑on leadership style with strong accountability and follow‑through
• Ability to manage multiple maintenance priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Experience working alongside contractors and outside vendors
• Strong understanding of OSHA and safety compliance standards
• Guest‑service mindset with strong internal communication skills
• Stable career progression and long‑term tenure preferred
