• Work with the Bennington Elementary Facilities team to manage school grounds, including debris removal, mowing, weed whacking, snow removal, salting, painting, and all other exterior maintenance tasks to keep the building safe, neat, accessible, and clean.
• Perform custodial duties to keep interior district facilities neat, clean, and safe.
• Collaborate with the team in the maintenance and storage of district property.
• Coordinate maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting of automated systems such as HVAC, BMS, and security systems.
• Implement the preventive maintenance program for the district.
• Restock and expedite materials within district facilities for daily, weekly, and seasonal operations.
• Report unauthorized persons or damage to appropriate authority and assist with remediation of incidents.
• Assist in the supervision, training, and coordination of all activities of personnel as required.
• Support the district’s educational values, philosophy, and mission.
• Attend district training as required.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
• Adhere to all district policies and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by building administrators, directors, and central office staff.

• High School Diploma.
• Four to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least four years of relevant experience preferred.
• High School/Trade School degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency, or valid work visa required.
