Auto Detailer​/Porter

Job Description

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery and maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including emptying garbage cans, cleaning floors, and dusting countertops and work areas.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and storing tools and equipment properly.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
• Pre-wash customer vehicles prior to repairs.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
• Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

• High School diploma / GED preferred.
• Ability to multitask.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Clear close vision required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong attention to detail.

• Trustworthy and reliable.
• Willingness to learn.

• Pulling/pushing, carrying.
• Walking 5+ miles.
• Sitting.
• Standing 5+ miles.
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling 1+ times.
• Operate a motor vehicle.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Withstand exposure to working near moving mechanical parts.

$15 - $17 / hour.

Compensation is commensurate with skill, education, and experience.

Supplemental pay:
