P&A Derrick Hands

- Victoria, TX
Axis is seeking Derrick Hands to join their Plug & Abandonment (P&A) rig crew in Victoria, Texas. These professionals will work as part of a 4-5 person team, performing elevated and ground-level tasks on P&A rigs. The ideal candidates are experienced, safety-conscious, and able to handle physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment.

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Valid state issued driver license with acceptable MVR; CDL Class A or B preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Derrick hand experience required
- At least 2 years of P&A rig floor experience required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work a varied rotational schedule and travel as required
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work at heights of 50 ft. or more
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to clear pre-employment drug/alcohol and job-relevant screens
