The Janitor position keeps buildings clean and orderly, performs light and heavy cleaning duties including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing waste. The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean environment for our customers and employees.

• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS
• OPTION OF MORNING OR EVENING SHIFT
• M-F MORNING 7AM-12PM S:8AM-12PM
• M-F AFTERNOON 1PM-6PM S: 1PM-5PM

• Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and carpet cleaning.
• Surface care including dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, cleaning blinds and draperies.
• Waste removal such as emptying of trash and recycle bins, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas as well as replacing the trash liners.
• Clean sinks, toilets, countertops, microwaves, refrigerators and trash receptacles.
• Light maintenance including replacement of light bulbs, restocking of supply cabinets, supply room, breakrooms and bathrooms.
• Pick up trash and litter from the showroom, parking lots and grounds.
• Maintain the janitor closet, equipment and supplies in a clean, organized and safe manner.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Safe operation of ladders, step stools and cleaning chemicals.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
• Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive group brand.
• Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Commercial janitorial experience preferred, but not required
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening
• Authorization to work in the USA
• Valid driver's licenses and acceptable driving record
