Bank Cleaner Evening Shift

Schedule:Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7-9pm
Reports To: Site Supervisor / Operations Manager

Jidan Cleaning is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bank Cleaner to clean and maintain a professional financial institution environment. This position is responsible for ensuring the branch remains clean, organized, and welcoming for employees, customers, and visitors.

The ideal candidate is dependable, trustworthy, able to work independently, and understands the importance of following cleaning procedures and security expectations when working in a bank or credit union setting.

• Clean and maintain lobby areas, teller areas, offices, conference rooms, breakrooms, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
• Vacuum carpets and rugs.
• Sweep and mop hard floors.
• Dust desks, counters, ledges, windowsills, furniture, and other surfaces.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, counters, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Restock restroom supplies as needed.
• Clean breakroom surfaces, tables, counters, sinks, and appliances as assigned.
• Wipe down high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, counters, phones, and shared surfaces.
• Clean glass doors, entry doors, interior glass, and customer-facing areas.
• Spot clean walls, doors, and surfaces as needed.
• Maintain a neat and organized cleaning supply area.
• Report low supplies, maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or unusual activity to management.
• Follow all building-specific cleaning instructions, safety procedures, and security requirements.
• Ensure assigned areas are properly cleaned and checked before leaving the site.

Because this position is located in a financial institution, professionalism, dependability, and trustworthiness are extremely important. Employees must follow all security procedures, respect restricted areas, and ensure the building is left secure according to site instructions. This position may require working independently after business hours, so attention to detail, good judgment, and reliability are essential.

Key duties:

offices, teller areas, lobby, restrooms, breakroom, trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, glass doors, high-touch surfaces, and securing the space properly after cleaning.

Bank cleaners are expected to complete all assigned cleaning tasks thoroughly and consistently each shift. Since banks are professional and customer-facing environments, the space must be left clean, presentable, and ready for business the next day.
Employees are also expected to communicate any issues right away, including supply needs, building concerns, missed tasks, or anything unusual noticed while on site.

• At least 2 Years of prior commercial cleaning or janitorial experience.
• Experience cleaning banks, credit unions, offices, or professional buildings is a plus.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work the assigned schedule consistently.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks without constant supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Professional attitude and respectful communication.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks during the shift.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
