Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor

Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift (7:30am - 4:00pm) or Night Shift (3:30pm - 11:30pm) positions available, (1 weekend per month)

Custodial floor care is a vital part of maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. From day-to-day maintenance to special event preparation and clean-up, our custodial team ensures that every floor shines with care and attention to detail. Safety is our top priority, helping every resident, employee, and guest feel at ease and secure in our buildings.

What

You’ll Do In This Role
  • Clean and maintain floors, carpets, walls, windows, and fixtures
  • Handle waste collection and emergency spills
  • Move furniture and assist with event setups
  • Report maintenance issues and equipment needs
  • Use professional cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
  • Support a safe, sanitary, and positive environment for all
  • All other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
  • Physical ability to lift 50–75 lbs, climb ladders, and operate cleaning equipment
The Experience You’ll Bring

This role provides on-the-job training, so no prior floor care experience is required.

Required

  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read and follow instructions

Preferred

COVID-19 Vaccinated. As of now, the 2025–2026 COVID-19 vaccine formulation is being distributed to providers and pharmacies; however, it has not yet received official approval from the CDC. In Virginia, pharmacists may administer COVID-19 vaccines under the Virginia Board of Pharmacy’s statewide protocols or with a direct order from a licensed medical provider. We encourage all new hires to consult with their healthcare provider regarding the most current vaccination recommendations.
