Non-Exempt, Hourly. Full-Time. Day and Night Shifts Available (every other weekend). Float and Healthcare schedules require weekend and holiday shifts.

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment for Westminster-Canterbury residents. This role focuses on the routine cleaning and upkeep of residents’ on‑site apartments while respecting privacy, dignity, and individual preferences. Housekeepers also maintain the cleanliness of campus common areas and perform general housekeeping in all residential, indoor, and outdoor activity areas.

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods:
  • Empty and clean waste cans and reline
  • Dust horizontal surfaces
  • Dry and damp mop floors of rooms and offices
  • Damp wipe all furniture
  • Clean and polish metal and porcelain fixtures in bathrooms
  • Spot clean walls, windows and polish metal surfaces
  • Replenish room supplies
  • Make beds and perform check‑out cleaning as assigned
• Assist in cleaning of emergency spills observed or requested
• Sanitize areas after biohazard or body fluids have been removed by nursing staff
• Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and repair when needed
• Observe and report repairs needed on furniture, building and fixtures
• All other duties as assigned

• Must be able to climb at least 2 flights of stairs and stand and/or walk for a period of time
• Will use cleaning devices including 12‑oz. wet mops, small wringers and household vacuum cleaners
• Prolonged standing and walking required; will have to bend, kneel, stoop and reach to perform cleaning tasks
• Hands may be in contact with cleaning chemicals
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Must be able to demonstrate correct use of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Must be able to perform job responsibilities with pets present
• Basic computer skills
• Flu‑Vaccinated

• High School Diploma
• Prior Housekeeping experience

• Compensation Range:
  Starting at $16.40
