We are looking to hire a dedicated and observant Interstate Maintenance/Traffic Control Technician.
To be successful in this position you should have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team. Ultimately, a top‑notch Technician should demonstrate sound knowledge of state traffic regulations, as well as have exceptional observation, organizational and problem‑solving skills.
We have entry level positions open.
Traffic Control experience preferred.
Responsibilities:Servicing an Interstate general maintenance & incident response contract.
Day to day activities include but are not limited to, driving TMAs & pickups to perform the following tasks on the interstate:
- Remove debris
- Pothole repair
- Cutting trees
- Removing dead animals
- Litter pickup
- Working as part of a team
- Working in harsh weather conditions
Providing traffic control for emergency responders on the interstate 24/7.
- Setting up shoulder/lane closures
- Shutting down on/off ramps
- Shutting down the interstate
- Marking damage
- Cutting guardrail
On call rotation, week on, week off.
Storm standby during adverse weather events.
