OVERVIEW

The Remediation Project Manager reports to the General Manager and is accountable for providing excellent service to disaster victims and restoring property and lives with a servant’s heart. JOBRESPONSIBILITIES
- Visit new assignments, interface with clients, and sell the job.
- Scope damages at the site, create an estimate on a database, and submit it to the insurance company for approval.
- Coordinate demolition and dry‑out of commercial properties, compile field notes, timecards, equipment usage, and estimate commercial water losses to ensure projects meet Jenkins standards.
- Provide on‑site supervision for all mold remediation projects, coordinating and supervising work.
- Call or meet customers to ensure satisfaction and collect payment for work completed.
- Manage deadlines, progress, and quality on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Assist with after‑hours, on‑call phone mitigation assignments as needed.
- Assist in marketing strategies, plans, and events.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Education:
Associate’s degree (A.A. or A.S.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school with a record of strong academic achievement. - Experience:
At least six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Language
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively to customers and employees in English. - Technical
Skills:
Knowledge of industry-related software; ability to touch type; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.); ability to communicate via cell phone and appropriate apps. - Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and handle variable situations with limited standardization; interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
International Institute of Cleaning and Restoration Certifications (IICRC) is the main trade organization Jenkins Environmental follows. Required certifications include:
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT)
- IICRC Applied Microbial Technician (AMRT)
- IICRC Commercial Drying Specialist (CDS) or IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD)
- Local and state‑required certifications.
The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee occasionally stands, walks, and must lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENTThe job exposes the employee to outside weather, moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, wet or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, electrical shock, vibration, and moderate noise levels. Appropriate safety equipment is furnished.
