Housekeeper
The housekeeper position ensures apartments and units are clean, comfortable, and ready for check-in. In this role, you will prepare units to meet quality standards, maintain light inventory, report maintenance needs, and support daily housekeeping operations.
Responsibilities- Ensure all apartments meet company standards.
- Prepare and clean apartments for new guests, ensuring they are in the best possible condition.
- Check in and check out all assigned keys.
- Report maintenance issues or items needed in units.
- Maintain inventory necessary to perform daily duties, including but not limited to light bulbs, batteries, cable wires, cleaning supplies, lock boxes, etc.
- Develop and maintain on-site relationships with customers, clients, and vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of miles driven and daily activity.
- Communicate with staff daily and adapt to last-minute changes as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 2 years of experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial work.
- Proficiency in janitorial, housekeeping, and cleaning.
- Experience in quality control and apartment/room setup.
- Linen and laundry skills.
- Customer service-oriented approach.
- Ability to perform quality checks and cleaning services.
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (some sites require service in and around the Hampton Roads area, with potential to drive company vans).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.

The work environment consists of shifts from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with no weekends required. Access to company vans and vehicles is provided. You will be working with a team that fosters a supportive and collaborative environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
