Job Summary
Keeps buildings clean and orderly by performing heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Responsibilities also include sanitizing surfaces, following eight‑step cleaning procedures, and maintaining a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
Location500 Haley Drive – CAB BLDG 09, Mineral, VA 23117.
SchedulePart‑time. Days may vary, 7:00 am – 11:00 am. Specific schedule details will be provided during the interview.
Pay Range$14.50 per hour to $17.50 per hour.
Responsibilities- Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
- Dusts and mops floors, and sanitizes all surfaces according to the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
- Moves equipment and furniture for cleaning and repositions them correctly.
- Cleans assigned areas using specified materials and equipment.
- Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items.
- Identifies areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete the task.
- Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Performs duties in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
- Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refines floors; shampoos carpet.
- Contributes to the team and exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred.
