Maintenance Worker, Shenandoah National Park

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is looking for a full‑time Maintenance Worker to join our team at Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. As a Maintenance Worker, you will perform routine maintenance duties throughout the property.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.75 per hour.

• Assist guests and team members with maintenance needs in a commercial setting
• Paint, hang, and repair drywall as needed, and install shelves, hooks, and closet rods
• Change light bulbs, replace fixtures, open clogged drains, and repair leaks
• Perform lawn maintenance, including mowing and removing weeds
• Ensure tools and equipment are in working order, and keep the maintenance room in neat condition
• Assist with loading or unloading trucks of maintenance parts and supplies
• Document maintenance tasks using logs/CMMS software
• Drive company vehicle daily

• No high school diploma or GED required
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and mechanical systems
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Minimum of two years of previous experience in general maintenance and repair
• Previous experience with fire and boiler heat systems preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, and kneeling
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds
• Standing and walking 100% of the time
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather

Days, evenings, holidays, weekends, Monday‑Friday shifts.
