Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Ameri Staff is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for repairs and preventive maintenance of all machinery in the plant. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and/or General Plant Manager.
- Full time
- Monday-Friday 6:45am-3:00p,
- Pay: $15.00+ DOE
- Repairs and performs preventive maintenance on injection molding machines, lift trucks, tow motors, delivery trucks and other repairs as reported on work orders and as required or scheduled
- Must be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions or prints in mathematical or diagram form
- May frequently have to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally must lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Follows all plant and electrical safety rules
- Performs repairs and preventive maintenance in other areas of the plant as required under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Ensures no tools used in repairs are left in or around the area of repair after work is completed
- Promotes team membership and harmonious relationship among all plant personnel
- Performs and practices good housekeeping in all areas where maintenance is performed and all other areas of the plant
- Other duties as required by Maintenance Supervisor or other management

- Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before management/employees of the company.
