Building Maintenance Supervisor

New River Electrical Corporation is seeking a Building Maintenance Supervisor to lead facility upkeep across high-voltage substation, industrial, and support buildings. In this employee-owned, safety-first environment, you will supervise technicians, coordinate contractors, and manage preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical, mechanical, and structural systems. Responsibilities include scheduling work, enforcing OSHA and company safety standards, overseeing inspections, maintaining CMMS records, and supporting 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise building maintenance and repair activities for utility and substation facilities
• Lead and schedule maintenance technicians and contractors for daily and preventive tasks
• Inspect electrical, mechanical, and structural systems to ensure safe, reliable operations
• Coordinate and track preventive maintenance programs and work orders
• Ensure compliance with safety, OSHA, and company procedures across all maintenance work
• Collaborate with project, operations, and safety teams on facility needs and outages
• Manage maintenance inventory, tools, and equipment readiness
• Oversee vendor services and verify quality of completed work
• Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and reports for inspections and repairs
• Support emergency response and after-hours issues as needed
